• Welcome to our Nonverbal Codes Blog!  In our blog we focus on the nonverbal codes within our society, today.  Specifically, we would like to focus on the physical appearance that people display and the assumptions people make in regards to clothing, body artifacts, and physical attractiveness. This is an important topic because it is relevant to our every day lives. Our impressions are constantly impacted by the physical appearance of others. It is important to be aware of the impact appearance brings to our every day lives.  We see these nonverbal codes as important aspects of identity management and the impact it has on the impressions we give and receive from others. We became interested in this topic because it something that we can relate to and are directly effected by.
